Milwaukee, WI (September 17, 2012)  – Milwaukee County Supervisor Deanna Alexander is inviting 18th District residents to join her to talk about Milwaukee County issues during a Town Hall Meeting on Monday, September 17, 2012 at Dretzka Park Chalet, 12020 W. Bradley Rd., at 7 p.m.

Supervisor Alexander is pleased to host Jim Sullivan as a guest speaker during this Town Hall Meeting. Sullivan, a former state senator and City of Wauwatosa alderman, is the current director of the Milwaukee County Department of Child Support Services, which handles about 134,000 child support and paternity cases annually.

“While this Town Hall meeting can serve as a forum for any number of issues or concerns related to Milwaukee County government, I want to provide information specifically about child support, as that is an area of particular interest to many of my constituents,” said Supervisor Alexander. “I appreciate Jim’s willingness to join me and to talk about the important work of the department that he leads.”

Additionally, Sullivan will be available to answer individual case questions after the meeting.

“I am very happy that Milwaukee County Child Support Services can continue to deliver its important missions of fostering parental and family responsibility as well as assisting families and building a stronger community,” said Sullivan. “I appreciate that Supervisor Alexander is providing this opportunity to meet with and to serve the residents of her district.”
